R&B Grill is a southern style soul food restaurant on wheels. It was founded in 2000 by Louis J. Robinson III, also known as “Rob”, the “R”, in R&B Grill. Rob started with the idea of selling fried fish. Before he knew it, the business grew to include grilled jumbo smoked turkey legs and ribs. Twenty years later, he and his wife (Barbara Robinson), the “B” in R&B Grill, expanded their menu to include southern style foods full of great flavor and taste, fried chicken, fish, shrimp, pork chops, collard greens, mac and cheese. Our famous tropical lemonade, and much more.
Today R&B Grill still has the same amazing flavor and cuisine. The difference is when you see R&B Grill out at festivals, ball games or special events, you will see Louis and Barbara’s children running the show. As of 2020, their two daughters (Nikki Holloway and Lavasia Robinson) along with son-in-law (Omar Holloway) have taken ownership and operational duties of the business. Louis and Barbara are still around but have paved the way for their kids to continue what they started 20 years ago. To service the community with GREAT food, Joy and Excitement!
